After studying the extend and effects of the cracks on the pile cap it was decided to break, removed and rebuild the pile caps. This processes took about 6 months and cause delays in the construction of the bridge , A new system of cooling and controlling the temperature gradient was designed and installed and used during the curing of the rebuild pilecap.
